Consol Energy Center
During the building of the Consol Energy Center, Texolve served as a consultant to the Pittsburgh Penguins staff acting as the Technical Oversight Group. Texolve contributed to the project planning, management and installation of a second turnkey shared media storage system, Editshare Extreme. Activities included initial off-site product management, off-site configuration of system components, and on-site hardware installation. Texolve consulted with DSI and designated vendors regarding connections to Editshare Extreme as it related to editing systems and media management systems. We also were responsible for decommissioning of the existing Editshare equipment, previously in use at Mellon Arena, and reconfiguring / recommisioning it upon its arrival in the new facility. Texolve is proud to have been a part of this project and is excited to have entered into a contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, to serve as Engineer-In-Charge at home events in the Consol Energy Center.
Phenomenon
Touted as one of the best post production houses in the region, Phenomenon specializes on editorial services, motion graphics and audio & video production. Phenomenon is located on Mount Washington overlooking the city of Pittsburgh; offering award winning concepts, innovative ideas and audio/video production services to its clients. Texolve has serviced Phenomenon's repair and preventative maintenance needs for many years. In addition to the repair efforts, we have worked together to find solutions to Phenomenon's growing technology needs in their editing systems on Mount Washington.
National Archives and
Records Administration
Texolve performs routine maintenance on Video Tape recorder and player equipment for the National Archives and Records Administration located at the College Park, MD facility. Services include transportation, evaluation, troubleshooting, recommendation for repair, and repairs to the equipment. Services are intended to provide a cost effective path to the restoration to operational condition of numerous video recorder/players through repair efforts and to extend the operational life of others through corrective and preventative maintenance.
WQED
WQED-TV, located in Oakland, Pennsylvania, is the country's first community-supported television station. Texolve is proud to work with WQED Multimedia, providing audio and video services such as equipment repair, preventative equipment maintenance and with long-term project management. In 2008, Texolve designed and installed a signal interconnect system between technical areas and the individual studios.
