Mike Gianutsos

Mike founded Texolve in 1997 and has over 30 years of experience in television systems engineering. He served as a systems design engineer with an international systems integrator, director of engineering for a mobile broadcast company, maintenance engineer for numerous post production facilities, and remote engineer for special event sports and news broadcasts. Drawing on this balanced experience he has led Texolve on a path of steady growth through valued engineering support. Mike has an education in electronics and continues to perform component-level maintenance during peak periods. He has held SBE certification at the CSTE level since 1990, serves on the board of directors of the Allegheny Kiski Learning Center, is a past member of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Technical Advisory Committee and a past member of the SMPTE.

David Crumley

After earning his electronics degree at Pittsburgh Technical Institute in October 2007, David joined the Texolve staff and quickly became the Engineer-In-Charge at PNC Park and the Petersen Events Center. He, along with Mike, completes all maintenance and repair work for our clients.

Nora joined the Texolve Digital Inc. team in 2010. She maintains the website and oversees the marketing projects. Before coming to Texolve Digital Inc., Nora gained valuable experience overseeing event production for Pitt Basketball at the Petersen Events Center and Pitt Football at Heinz Field.

Bob Pennington

Bob joins Texolve Digital, Inc. with over 20 years of experience in broadcast television, AV production, systems integration and product development. He started his career in the media services department at Waynesburg University. As a news photographer, he contributed to the winning of a regional Emmy award at WCIV-TV in Charleston, SC. He also assisted with migrating WCIV into a brand new facility and was promoted to 11PM news producer. Bob moved to producing the 6PM news at WTOV-TV and helped capture the first #1 news rating in the stations' history. With an eye for emerging technologies, he jumped at the opportunity to implement some of the early two-way digital compressed video systems being used for a state-wide telemedicine program. He became the director of the program and provided testimony before the FCC on telecommunication costs in rural areas, leading to the universal service fund which provides discounted telecommunication services to schools, libraries and health care facilities. Armed with an understanding of analog to digital conversion workflow, Bob assisted numerous organizations and broadcasters in their migration to digital formats. He has worked for resellers, systems integrators and industry leading manufacturers supporting production and post-production products and technologies. Bob has worked on numerous product developments for camera support systems, battery power, LED lighting products, terminal switchers, convertors and distribution amplifiers utilizing the HDMI specification. Bob holds a Masters in Business Administration and is a member of InfoComm.

Robert Sommerkamp

After serving in the Marines for 4 years, Rob began his career with Synergistic Technologies/AZCAR where he worked until 2010. During his time there, Rob served in a number of roles; as an Installer for 2 years, an Installation Supervisor for 5 years, a Commissioning Engineer for 1 year and an IT Specialist for 5 years. Rob graduated from The Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2005 with an Associate in Science Degree, Information Technology/Network Administration. This past year, Rob worked with Texolve Digital, Inc. serving as the Engineer-In-Charge for Cal-U Football and Pitt Men's and Women's Basketball before accepting a full time position in April 2011.

Sean Williams

Sean joined Texolve in 2001, charged with the engineering responsibility of over 250 annual events in the Jumbotron and MATV control rooms at PNC Park, Heinz Field and the Petersen Events Center. He was the first Engineer-In-Charge in these unique state of the art digital facilities and was positioned to be the first line of defense when failure occurred. Recently, Sean has been able to focus his efforts at Heinz Field to just event days and expand his work in design and integration for Texolve. Sean has 15 years of experience in television business. Prior to Texolve he worked as a KU mobile uplink engineer, freelance video operator, EIC for a mobile production truck and Director of media services at Waynesburg College. This experience, coupled with a strong background in live event production at Waynesburg College, makes him a perfect fit for our team. Sean is a past member of SBE and NPPA.

David Wolf

David has worked in video production and post since 1993. He became an Avid Certified Support Representative in 1998 and has worked for two Avid resellers and owned his own company "Edit Solutions" in the D.C. Area providing technical and training services to clients like America's Most Wanted, Baltimore Ravens, BET Television, CIA, and more.
In 2000 he worked at D.I.N.F.O.S at Fort Meade, MD. as the on site Avid Engineer, which at the time had the largest number of editors on a Unity Shared Storage system in the world.
During the 2002 NFL Season he was the on site Avid Engineer for NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, NJ. which had over 80 Avid editing systems on two Unity Shared Storage systems with Media Manager asset management.
From 2004 until 2010 he worked for Avid Technology as a Field Engineer, Installer, and Workflow Manager with a territory of North America and the Caribbean. While there he serviced a multitude of Broadcast, Post, Religious, and Government clients including Lopez Tonight, Comcast Entertainment LA., Lifetime Network NY, Fox News NY, MTV NY, Pentagon Channel, Philadelphia Eagles, CBS Sports NY, and many more.
